Hunter Auto 34 - The effortless solution to toughest wheel combinations

 

New for 2009, the Hunter Auto34 Tyre Changer brings automated functions and powerful high torque motor to service wheels up to 34” in diameter, safely and easily.

The ultra thin patented tool head slips easily between the rim and tyre sidewall, releasing the bead in one fluid down/up motion, without the use of bead levers!

The hydraulic bead loosening roller gently rolls the tyre off or on the rim under complete command of the operator. Precise control and proximity sensors enable the bead to be broken close to the rim, protecting the tyre side wall and any pressure sensors. The rollers are also strong enough to hold the tyre stationary while the rim is rotated to complete match-mounting procedures.

The centre support clamping table and self-centering quick clamp give the Auto34 the flexibility to easily mount a vast variety of wheels up to 34 inches in diameter. The clamping table can be adjusted to three different heights to allow the technician to work at the most effective position and eliminates the need for flange plates to service most reverse drop-centre wheels. The oscillating turntable includes a cam plate that prevents wheel rim slippage.

The powerful high torque motor exerts over 850ft/lb of torque to mount even the stubborn beads. With a variable-speed, pedal- controlled drive system, the technician has the ability to control the amount of force needed to perform the task whilst guarding against damage.

The Bead Press Arm is a useful aid for even faster mounting of difficult tyres. It can be used to push a stiff sidewall tyre into the drop-centre of a rim and keep it in position as the wheel rotates when demounting or mounting, greatly reducing risk of bead damage.
